Qijuk Design Innovations has been awarded a research grant by the Federal Economic Development Agency of Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario) through their Applied Research and Commercialization Initiative. This grant will support a collaborative endeavor between Qijuk and OCAD University, who will provide valuable research and design resources for the continued development of our Pannaq solid wood technology.
The ARC Initiative was launched by FedDev in 2010 to facilitate collaboration between southern Ontario businesses and post-secondary institutions. More than $14.5 million has been invested in various projects to date, providing growth and research opportunities for innovative companies, as well as promoting a working partnership between the public and private sectors. Through these opportunities, the Initiative aims to support innovation, diversification, and commercialization in the Southern Ontario market for the benefit of regional and national economies.
Qijuk Design is proud to have received this grant, and values the recognition and support of FedDev Ontario. Our collaboration with OCADU will focus on the development and commercialization of innovative applications for Pannaq solid wood, bringing this green lifestyle solution to new markets while promoting economic vitality in Canada.
